Private Yoga Sessions Online and In-Person
Your Lifestyle. Your Yoga.
A certified Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance RYT-200), I offer private yoga sessions that tailor each class to your specific needs. Conducted via Zoom, your virtual session is entirely flexible, empowering you to practice from wherever you are, at a time that fits your schedule.
What Makes My Private Yoga Sessions Different?
My approach to yoga is to create an accessible practice that focuses on health, well-being, and self-acceptance. This means developing a class plan that meets you where you are. I especially enjoy teaching those who are new to yoga practice, are coming back to yoga after a break, or those living with mobility issues. (I’m in my fifties, so I know what it’s like to practice when your hip hurts!) I believe yoga is for everyone and that everyone can do yoga.
I integrate a number of modalities as part of my teaching practice, including the use of props and modifications, yogic breathing techniques, and meditation. Teaching primarily Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles, I believe in using the right tool for the right job and prioritizing a safe practice while providing sufficient physical challenge to consistently grow.

Each session includes a customized class plan with live individual instruction and a practice setting session, where we can discuss your progress, general goals, and whatever we need to do to make the class fit where you are on that particular day. About My Yoga Practice
I’ve been practicing yoga since a friend suggested I read Richard Hittleman’s Yoga back in the early 2000’s. Since then, my personal practice has grown through regular hot yoga and hatha classes and, more recently, vinyasa flow yoga. These days, I’m focused on yoga, meditation, and embodied philosophy as tools for mindfulness and discovery.
The ability of yoga to provide not only physical benefits, but also positively impact an individual’s well-being, is what keeps me practicing. I’m keenly interested in personal growth, spirituality, and well-being—interests which led me to get a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from York University and a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto’s Department for the Study of Religion. I consider myself spiritual, but not religious. A seeker, but not a believer. Academically-inclined, but reality-based.
I undertook my Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Renew, a world-class, international yoga school, and am RYT-200 certified through Yoga Alliance, the gold standard certification for yoga instructors. My yoga training included how to instruct and modify postures, as well as courses in anatomy, meditation, pranayama, and yogic philosophy. I try to bring a little bit of everything to my personal yoga practice as well as my classes.
